Product description
Real-time energy insight for smarter Zendure energy management
The Zendure Smart Meter 3CT with three 120A CT clamps measures the energy flow at your electrical distribution board and makes household consumption and grid import or export visible in the Zendure app. It gives compatible Zendure energy-storage systems the live data they need to respond more intelligently to changes in demand, helping you use more of your own solar energy and reduce unnecessary feed-in or grid consumption.
Designed for both single-phase and three-phase installations, the Smart Meter 3CT is mounted on a DIN rail inside the distribution board. The included split-core current-transformer clamps are fitted around the phase conductors, so current can be measured without cutting the main conductors. Voltage connections provide phase reference and power the meter, while Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connect it to the Zendure ecosystem.
Key benefits
- Whole-home energy monitoring: view real-time household consumption and the direction of energy flow.
- Smarter battery control: provides compatible Zendure systems with the data required to align charging and discharging with actual household demand.
- Suitable for 1-phase and 3-phase homes: one meter can be configured for common European single-phase or three-phase electrical installations.
- Three 120A CT clamps included: monitor up to three main phase conductors, with one clamp assigned to each phase in a three-phase installation.
- Non-invasive current sensing: split-core clamps close around the conductor and do not need to be inserted into the main current path.
- DIN-rail installation: compact design for permanent installation inside a suitable indoor distribution board.
- Zendure app integration: check live values, device status and energy-flow information from your phone.
- Wireless connectivity: 2.4GHz Wi-Fi for network communication and Bluetooth for setup.
How it works
Each CT clamp measures the alternating current flowing through one phase conductor. The Smart Meter combines this current measurement with the corresponding phase-voltage reference to determine the direction and level of the energy flow. Data is then shared with the Zendure app and compatible Zendure Home Energy Management System (HEMS) devices.
When used as part of a compatible Zendure storage setup, the meter enables demand-based energy management. For example, when household consumption rises, the system can use the measured data to adjust battery output; when surplus solar energy is available, compatible equipment can use the information to optimise charging. Available functions and control behaviour depend on the connected Zendure products, firmware, app settings and system configuration.
Single-phase and three-phase use
For a single-phase installation, the installer connects and configures the applicable phase input and CT clamp in accordance with the current Zendure manual. For a three-phase installation, the three supplied 120A clamps are fitted to L1, L2 and L3, with each voltage input and clamp matched to the same phase. Correct phase matching and clamp orientation are essential for accurate positive/negative power readings.
The directional arrow on every clamp must follow the installation diagram. Reversed clamps, mismatched phases or connection to the wrong CT input can result in negative or incorrect readings. Commissioning should therefore include a phase-by-phase check in the Zendure app.
Typical applications
- Measuring total home electricity consumption
- Monitoring grid import and export
- Supporting self-consumption optimisation with a compatible Zendure battery system
- Improving automated charging and discharging decisions within Zendure HEMS
- Providing a central measurement point instead of relying only on individual smart plugs
- Monitoring single-phase or three-phase residential connections

Installation wiring, protective devices, tools and any other installation materials are not included unless explicitly stated elsewhere on this product page.
Professional installation is mandatory
Important: this product must be installed, connected and commissioned exclusively by a qualified electrical installer or licensed electrician. Installation takes place inside the electrical distribution board and involves connections to mains voltage. Incorrect installation can cause electric shock, fire, equipment damage, inaccurate measurements or unsafe operation.
The installer must isolate the installation, verify the absence of voltage, comply with all applicable national and local electrical regulations, use appropriate protective equipment and overcurrent protection, follow the latest Zendure installation manual, verify conductor and phase identification with suitable test equipment, and confirm correct operation before the distribution board is closed. Do not install or use the meter outdoors, in wet conditions, or where flammable or explosive gases may be present.
This product is not intended for DIY installation. If you are unsure whether your distribution board, network connection or Zendure equipment is suitable, ask your installer to assess compatibility before ordering or installation.
Setup and commissioning
- Have the Smart Meter and CT clamps installed in the distribution board by a qualified professional.
- After the installer has completed all safety and wiring checks, power up the installation.
- Open the Zendure app and add the Smart Meter 3CT as a new device.
- Connect it to a stable 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and complete the app configuration.
- Check the live values for every connected phase and verify that import, export and consumption direction are displayed correctly.
- Link or configure compatible Zendure energy-storage equipment as required for your chosen energy-management mode.
Good to know before ordering
- Check that there is sufficient DIN-rail space and safe working room in the distribution board.
- Confirm with your installer that 120A CT clamps are suitable for the conductor size and maximum expected current.
- A reliable 2.4GHz Wi-Fi signal should be available at the distribution board.
- Compatibility and available smart-control functions depend on the connected Zendure devices, firmware and regional app features.
- Always use the latest Zendure documentation supplied with the product or available from Zendure.
In short: the Zendure Smart Meter 3CT adds precise, central energy-flow data to a compatible Zendure setup, giving you better visibility and enabling smarter battery behaviour across both single-phase and three-phase homes—provided it is professionally installed and correctly commissioned.
