Sometimes you just know: it's time for a change. After working together for years we, Mathijs and Kelvin, decided to take a different path. We wanted to build something that truly energizes us, both literally and figuratively. That's how the brand Slimme Energieopslag was born.

Our mission is simple: to make sustainable energy smarter and more user-friendly. We believe that everyone should have access to reliable and future-oriented energy storage. The world has become less predictable in recent years. From pandemics to political tensions and resource shortages. This shows how vulnerable our energy supply can be. That is exactly why we believe everyone should have the opportunity to store energy intelligently: so you are less dependent on others, can make better use of renewable energy, and gain more control over your own future.

To support that mission, we operate under the name: Slimme Energieopslag. Behind the scenes, the company is HK Power B.V. a 100% Dutch private limited company. Think of HK Power B.V. as the name on the official paperwork, and Slimme Energieopslag as the name that best represents what we work on every single day, together. Store, Save, Be independent
