Automatic backup for Solarbank Max and Max AC
During a power outage, the Backup Auto-Switch safely disconnects your home from the public grid and automatically switches to stored energy from your Solarbank Max or Solarbank Max AC. When grid power returns, the Auto-Switch restores the normal power supply.
Up to 5,000 W backup power
With the Solarbank Max or Solarbank Max AC, up to 5,000 W of backup power is available. Whole-home backup keeps your entire home connected, allowing you to decide how to distribute the available power during an outage.
Integrated energy metering
The Auto-Switch includes an integrated energy meter and supports CT clamps for measuring energy flows in your home. No separate energy meter is required for this function.
Single-phase up to 63 A
Suitable for single-phase electrical installations with a maximum current of 63 A. The 63 A rating indicates how much current the Auto-Switch can handle and is separate from the backup power rating.
Installation
The Backup Auto-Switch is permanently integrated into the electrical installation and must be installed by a qualified electrician. Before ordering, check that your connection is single-phase and that the combination is suitable for your Solarbank Max or Solarbank Max AC configuration.
